The CoSTREAM project kicked off during a two-day meeting at the Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands on December 18th and 19th, 2015. The five-year project will investigate the link between stroke and Alzheimer's disease and improve our understanding of both diseases and their frequent co-occuruence.
Twenty-five representatives from all partners in the CoSTREAM project travelled to Rotterdam for the project's first meeting. All Work Packages Leaders presented additional details of their Work Packages and its first activities. The meeting focused on the key first steps of the project and estbalishing efficient internal communication between the project partners.
